Welcome

The Lakeview Library is home to all kinds of books - picture books, chapter books, nonfiction, biographies, and graphic novels.  Both computers and iPads are available for students to search the library catalog and utilize our many databases, such as World Book, Britannica Online, and PebbleGo. Our library currently holds about 15,000 books! Our library is a resource for all students because we offer a wide variety of books for all different reading levels and interests. Currently, all 2nd-5th grade students will be able to check out two books at a time. Our K-1st students will only be able to check out one book at a time. Books are checked out for two weeks at a time. Students visit the library with their classroom teachers once a week. However, students are encouraged to visit the library outside of their allotted rotation to exchange books if they finish their books before their library day or to conduct independent/small group research.  We are very excited for you to explore the different links on the left sidebar.  The Lakeview Library is an exciting and fun place for students to visit and explore! We have many fun and exciting programs going on throughout the year.  Get excited, it is going to be a great year!
